WE WILL NOT RECALL MCA SUNDUKWA AND RECYCLE FAILURES IN SITIKHO WARD

Residents of the Sitikho ward in Webuye West constituency have ignored a group of people who are collecting signatures to recall ward representative Grace Sundukwa saying that it is being done because of politics 2020.

Speaking to reporters, the residents, led by Wilfred Fwamba, said those who were collecting the signatures were instigated by some politicians who lost in the last general election.

"We are telling our people not to be misused, these people who are collecting signetures to recall MCA Sundukwa scammers who want to misuse your documents", Fwamba said

They have said the documents to remove Ms Sudukwa from office is being  funded by former local politicians and one minister from the Bungoma county government.

"We are surprised that the people who lost in 2017 are the ones who are at the forefront of fighting Ms Sundukwa, even if they come back we will not vote for them let them  forget the seat," they insisted.

"We are asking Minister Makheti, and Daoglus Kiteki Obama to work with Ms. Sundukwa so that we can make progress and we will not support the bill at all, we will not allow them to continue with that activity," Rodgers Matanda said.

An investigation by the author of this article revealed that the bill is funded by Douglas Kiteki (Obama) who says the MCA is not distributing development equitable and that is the main reason for wanting to remove him from office.

              Douglas Kiteki

"We have already collected7,000 signatures and we will not go back, Ms Sundukwa has discriminated against us very much in development and we have not seen a project that benefits us in Milo, Kahlumuli and Sitikho," Kiteki said.

Kiteki said the bill was not funded by Minister Makheti or any other politician but was a step taken by residents of theWard,

"stop daruging the name of Minister Makheti and t former  leaders in this bill, I am the one who is funding this bill and I ask the residents of Sitiko to support me to make progress," Kiteki said.
