CLEOPHAS MALALA HAS BEEN EXPELLED FROM ANC

Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala has been expelled from Amani National Congress in a special National Delegates meeting held on Friday morning

ANC accused the first-time senator of being disloyal to the party and the party leader.

In a statement, the party accused Malala of not beeing loyal even after helping him get the Senator's seat in the 2017 General Election.

ANC secretary-general Barack Muluka said the decision had been communicated to the Registrar of Political Parties for a firm decision against Malal a step that my lead to him losing his seat.

Kakamega ANC branch officials wrote to the party top organ, the National Executive Council, demanding the senator's removal.
