GOVERNOR WANGAMATI FORWARDS 3 TO ASSEMBLY FOR VETTING AS CHIEF OFFICERS

Governor Wangamati hasforwarded names of 3 persons to the County Assembly for vetting as Chief Officers.


The three are Dinah Naswa Makokha (Finance), Edward Ouma Makhandia (Economic Development) and Eng. Rosario Lumonya Soita (Water).

Dinah Naswa Makokha holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree (Accounting Option) from the University of Nairobi and a Masters degree in Business Administration from Mt Kenya University. Currently, Dinah is Head of Budget, Trans Nzoia County. She attended Butere Girls. The married mother of 5 comes from Webuye West.

Edward Ouma Makhandia holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration (Finance Option) from St Paul’s University. Currently, he is a Director at Delta Kenya Ltd. Mr Makhandia comes from Khasoko Ward in Bumula Sub County.

Eng Rosario Lumonya Soita holds a Bachelors of Technology degree in Civil and Structural Engineering from Moi University and is currently a pursuing a Master of Science in Civil Engineering (Water Engineering Option) at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. Currently, she is a Manager at the Lake Victoria South Water Works Development Agency. She has also served as Project Manager for Catholic Organization of Relief and Aid in South Sudan. She comes from Sirisia Sub County.

The Governor is still scrutinizing files of other candidates for merit and regional balance before filling the remaining 5 slots.
